The 1000 Ocean Startups Coalition is a member’s organization of entrepreneur supporting organizations (ESOs), such as funders, investors, incubators and accelerators and NGOs, that are helping forge and advance the ocean impact innovation ecosystem. Collectively, we create the conditions to enable 1000 innovative ocean-positive start-ups.While we do not offer any direct support to start-ups, such as funding or mentorship, we encourage interested start-ups to sign up to hear about opportunities from coalition members and get the latest news and insights from the ocean impact innovation ecosystem.

The 1 of 1000 initiative recognizes start-ups supported by Members of 1000 Ocean Startups, the global ocean innovation ecosystem hosted by the World Economic Forum. Through this initiative, we aim to amplify the visibility of ocean start-ups and foster greater collaboration amongst ventures supported by our Members. Recognition of your start-up through this initiative does not equate to membership in the 1000OS Community, neither does it signal endorsement by 1000OS, the Lighthouse or other Member organizations. It is also not possible to sign up or apply to this initiative. Start-ups must first have qualifying support from a 1000OS Member.
